Picture of Geralt and Shani in "Medical Problems"

I'm making a new adventure for The Witcher, to be called "Medical Problems."
It's very close to completion, and I expect to release it in just a few weeks.

"Medical Problems" is intended to go between The Witcher and The Witcher 2.  It's intentionally piggy-backing onto the story in the main game.  No disrespect to CDPR is intended; I wanted more, so I went ahead and made it. :-)

On his way from Vizima to Maribor, Geralt drops in to see Shani, only to find her frantic with worry about an illness that she's been unable to cure. Geralt obtains the monster parts she needs for her medicine, they brew up a potion together, and their investigation into the causes of that illness eventually leads them to an international conspiracy that only Geralt can deal with....  Funny how in Geralt's life, even little things always seem to become more complicated. :-)

The game has several different possible endings, depending on which choices you make while playing.  Three choices each have consequences, and which ending you get depends on the combination of choices.

You have monster parts to collect, a mystery to solve, and some witcher contracts to fulfill.

"Medical Problems" has:
  • 12 quests (only 11 of which can be completed in any one game, since two of them are mutually exclusive)
  • 45 NPC's, all of which have names and conversations of their own.  There's no one in this game who's named "Peasant" or "Townswoman," and no two conversations are identical -- all 45 of them have something different to say!
  • 18 areas, with 16 new loading screens
  • 40 monsters to kill
  • 6 sex cards to get, including one new one and 5 recolored ones
  • Many, many recolors of clothes, items, and even some areas
  • Several new items

Until the new adventure is released, you can amuse yourself by watching the Opening Movie, looking at a few Pictures, reading my Dev Diary, or even reading an Interview that Petra Silie conducted.

Newest addition:  a picture of the villagers on the Pictures page.
