Sims 1 Lighting by Corylea

Yard Lamp -- This lamp is intended for outside. It's completely flat, so your sims can walk on it, and you can put flowers on it if you want. Sims1YardLamp.zip

BUT lighting in The Sims 1 is weird, such that ourdoor lamps only shine on walls and floors. That means that this lamp will shine on your sidewalk, but it won't light up your outdoor plants or outdoor furniture, not because of anything I've done, but because The Sims 1 lighting simply doesn't DO that.

Here's an example. As you can see, the lamps shine light on the sidewalk, but they don't shine light on the plants, even though the plants are right over them. That's The Sims 1 for you. :-)

Installation: This is installed in the usual way; unzip the folder and put the contents in your Program Files (x86)\Maxis\Downloads folder.

I made these mods for my own use, but I went to the trouble of uploading them in an attempt to make my fellow simmers happy. So if you enjoy any of these mods, I'd love to hear about it!
