Turn this magic crystal ON, and need decay stops completely.
You can still increase or decrease a need if you DO something, though.
What this mod stops is need DECAY.
For example, if you work out on the exercise machine, your
Energy and Hygiene will decrease, just as they always do when you use
the exercise machine. But needs won't decay simply from time
passing.
Need decay resumes when you leave the lot where the crystal is located,
so it won't prevent need decay at work, and if you go Downtown or to
Studio Town or someplace like that, you'll need a crystal on the lot
you go to. Just click on it and choose "Freeze My Needs" to stop
need decay again.
Turn the crystal OFF again, and your needs go back to decaying in the
usual way.
As many sims as wish to may use this crystal, but it only works if the
active sim clicks on it, so it can't freeze the needs of guests or of
Downtownies or other non-playable sims unless you use a mod or cheat to
make them selectable.
It looks like a blue crystal on a gold
base and can be found in
the Decorative - Sculpture section of the catalog. Since this
is a new object, it goes in your
Downloads folder as usual.

If what you want is something that will keep your needs FULL, even if
you use the exercise machine or plant crops or whatever, get the
Please Yourself Plant from Inge Jones at
Simlogical. Her wonderful plant fills your needs to maximum twice
an hour, so they're basically always full. My mod is intended to
stop need decay in certain special situations; it's not intended to
eliminate the need for the player to attend to sims' needs completely,
because Simlogical already has a mod for that. :-)
I hope you enjoy this!
Best wishes,
Corylea
I
made these mods for my own use, but I went to
the trouble of uploading them in an attempt to make my fellow simmers
happy.
So if
you enjoy any of my mods, I'd love to hear about it!
I
don't
get
mail at corylea.com, but you can leave a comment in the thread
announcing my mods at
ModTheSims
or
Reddit
or send me a PM at either
of those places; I'm Corylea at both.
Have fun!
